About Pikachu

Pikachu is a small, yellow Electric-type Pokémon first introduced in the original Pokémon games. It is recognized by its pointed ears, red cheek pouches, lightning-bolt-shaped tail, and ability to store and release electricity. In the Pokémon world, Pikachu can evolve from Pichu when its friendship with a Trainer becomes strong, and it can evolve into Raichu with a Thunder Stone. Pikachu became especially prominent through the animated series, where it serves as Ash’s longtime partner. The character has appeared across the main game series, animation, merchandise, and Pokémon Trading Card Game, giving collectors many versions to compare by artwork, release, language, rarity, and promotional origin.
