About Scottie Pippen

Scottie Pippen was a Hall of Fame forward whose versatility and defense helped define the Chicago Bulls’ championship era. He won six NBA titles with Chicago and remained a major figure in professional basketball through 2004.

Scottie Pippen built his reputation as a highly versatile forward, combining perimeter defense, passing, rebounding, and transition play. Drafted in 1987, he joined the Chicago Bulls and became a central part of the team’s six championship seasons from 1991 through 1993 and 1996 through 1998. Pippen was selected to seven All-Star teams and earned All-NBA and All-Defensive honors during his career. He also represented the United States on two Olympic gold-medal teams, including the 1992 squad widely known as the Dream Team. After leaving Chicago, he played for the Houston Rockets and Portland Trail Blazers before concluding his NBA career in 2004. He entered the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010.
