Isiah Thomas was the creative point guard who led the Detroit Pistons to back-to-back NBA championships in 1989 and 1990. A 12-time All-Star, he entered the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2000.

Isiah Thomas built his legacy as the floor leader of the Detroit Pistons during the 1980s and early 1990s. Selected second overall in the 1981 NBA Draft, he became known for inventive passing, confident scoring, and late-game leadership. Thomas guided Detroit to consecutive NBA titles in 1989 and 1990, earning Finals MVP honors in 1990. He was selected to 12 All-Star teams and received the 1984 All-Star Game MVP award.
